2nd brewing, October 2012. Had this from the cask, first day open, at the Tullycross Brewery in Manchester, CT. Poured into a pint glass. A thick cloudy red/brown ale with a wonderful roasted hop scent and flavor. A strong ethanol presence that is shocking for a red ale with a roasted malt in the mouth and throat for the aftertaste. This red ale just packs the biggest red ale punch i've ever had! If you are a serious beer lover that is into hops, malts, and lots of roasted flavor/scent, you have GOT to try this! Hands down, the best red ale i've ever had! They will be selling growlers of it soon, and it will become a regular on tap at the bar, so I will definitely be getting as much of this as I can!
