"Red Ass Honey Wheat - A light and clean American wheat ale brewed with plenty of wheat and pale malts, Perle hops and honey are added for a mildly sweet flavor." (www.redass.com)

Very pale, clear, golden-yellow colored with an initially large, fairly rapidly-dissipating head of white foam (though the lace is pretty nice...).

Sweet, clean, wheaty aroma, with a noticable honey overtone. Reminiscient of Pete's Signature Pilsner, Pete's ESP or Big Buck Buck Naked Lite Beer.

This is one clean ass beer! Red Ass pours with a sweet, clean wheaty-honey aroma, similar to a graham cracker. The head dissapears a little quickly, but it's initial, white foaminess made for an attractive first impression. There is a slight fruitiness that is almost completely devoid of the typical American citric lemoniness, though the standard, almost gritty graininess is present, and quite pleasing in this wheat beer.

Uncomplex, sweet, clean and quite refreshing considering the lack of tartness or bitterness, Red Ass would make a great summertime session beer, or a pre-picnic digestif.
