Poured in a tulip at BCBB, the beer is jet black and oily, with a dense, creamy, tan head. Aromas of coffee, oak, and booze. Rich and sweet nose. Flavors are heavily roasted and bitter coffee forward, with subtle char notes throughout. Smooth and robust bodied, with a smoky and roasted coffee aftertaste. Smooth, bitter linger in the finish.
