Great Bitter! Dark - almost like a light-ish brown ale. But, it hits all the spots. It is what it is, just a basic beer to have with a burger. Absolutely love this place. Best burgers in town and Durham's top brewery.

Served at the brewery, this one has a warm, tawny brown color with a meager but persistent soap-bubble off-white head. Although not very aromatic, what is identifiable is a pleasant light and clean combination of biscuits and citrus. The flavor features more of a nice, dull, floral bitterness on top of dry biscuity malts. The fine, soft carbonation works well with this flavor profile by lightening the texture without masking the subtle combination of characteristics. Overall, Dr. B.O.B isn't going to blow anyone's socks off, but the nice balance and high drinkability makes it easy to appreciate it for its subtlety.
