on-tap at BCBB, served in a tulip glass
Pours a hazy dark brown with a beige head and some lacing. Smell is gingerbread and some sweet malt. Taste is ginger, nutmeg, and orange peels. This tastes like one of those chewy nutmeg/ginger cookies, I do not like those types of cookies. Finishes with some floral hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is mellow with a medium-heavy body and medium carb.
This tastes way too much like a Christmas cookie for my tastes with nutmeg overpowering things. Loses a certain amount of 'beerness' due to the cookies. Alcohol is near invisible.

It pours a murky brown with a little head.
The smell is rather barren, but that probably has a lot to do with the fact that burgers are being cooked in the same room.
The taste is overloaded with orange peel and nutmeg. It tastes like a nutmeg wrapped in oranges. All spice, and no body. Um not so much on this one.
