A hidden gem in the hills of rural Tennessee. Small taproom with bar that seats 4 and small lounge area, also outdoor porchesque seating. Interior look like a cross between a museum and beer focused country store. Only 4 beer on tap, 1 was good 4 were excellent (bartender brought out something from the brewhouse.) Excellent bartender. Really worth the excursion... and bottles to go...

this place is so rad, way off the beaten bath, you probably dont just drive by and stop in, its more of a destination, or at least it was for us. such a cool place, really one of a kind, a red barn looking place, rural as can be, mellow and relaxed, chickens running around a beautiful beer garden in the front, an old hippie bus parked in the driveway, mature shade trees, really a paradise. inside there is a small bar where you can taste the handful of beers they have on, with the brewery in the back, sort of a cobbled together feel, rustic, some old guy sharpens an implement on a stone wheel, no joke. they double as a coffee roaster, and they do a nice job with that, a gift shop too, handmade mugs and trinkets, they probably need to grab every possible dollar that walks through here, given the location and all, but its well set up and welcoming for sure. one weird thing here is that they wont pour you a pint, you have to by a growler or a half growler, even to sit there and drink, so thats what we did, a half growler and some little glasses and a wonderfully comfortable sit spot in their garden, an impossibly beautiful and relaxed place to drink a beer. they only had four beers to pick from, all kind of basic despite wordy names, and none of them particularly compelling to any of us, but drinkable enough and not bad, just sort of average. the service was fantastic, and we could have been drinking almost anything here and been over the moon on the experience, the vibe they have is so awesome and we just had a fabulous time. if by some chance you are driving through here, make it a point to stop. wonderful!
