Pours a nice dark gold colour, almost amber, with a thick fluffy head. The smell is malty and sweet. The taste is kind of like a typical Cream Ale, mixed with a brown ale. Malty, sweet, not bitter. I didn't notice any distinct oatmeal flavour, but I enjoyed this beer nonetheless
