This IPA poured dark Amber almost copper color with a bit of haze lots of carbonation that bloomed a puffy head. Left quite a bit of lacing. The smell was herbal but for an America IPA it lacked the usual hoppyness I expected. Medium-full bodied and finishes smooth. The herbal notes and malt overwhelm this beer and the hops only show towards the end. The balance is off. I think this earthy brew would be better labeled as something else other than an IPA. Maybe a pale or even a red if the color was a few clicks over.

Smells like vinegar. Not a good beer at all, but its even harder to drink when I have to smell it every time I take a sip. Definitely would not drink this again.

BBD 3/5/16. Pours a clear medium amber with a light garnet cast. Outstanding head volume and lacing, world class retention.
Light nose of citrus over biscuit.
Heavy light body with a bit of smoothness. Above normal carbonation with a bit of effervescence in the middle and a nice prickly finish.
The flavor profile is good, but weak for an IPA. As a pale ale, this would be scored higher. Intensity is light, poor complexity but outstandingly balanced. You get a light herbal hop flavor, light bitterness and light biscuit. While a bit dark in color, caramel flavor never becomes noticed. The finish is a slow fade of herbal bitterness.

Pours a orange-amber clear with good head and minimal lacing. aroma is quite light and has a touch of hops and sweetness. The taste is ok, The hop bitterness is large and in charge. Unlike some amazing ipas I have had, the hop bitterness is somewhat metallic in its taste. This is the second style of beer from Casco that has had a slightly metallic taste. Not that great

Appearance: Amber honey with thin carbonation and a bit of lacing. Decent color but the rest is just ok.
Smell: Malty grass and a hint of pineapple. Very faint IPA qualities as well as a wine-like odor.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Resiny bubblegum with some sharp cheese. Mouthfeel is rather thin but not flat.
Overall Drinkability: Just an ok session.
