I dropped in at Valhöll a couple weeks ago while passing through Poulsbo. A buddy of mine came here ages ago and recommended it, so I was glad to finally check it out. The taproom is super homey, with a very cabin-ey feel and just an overall welcoming vibe. There's also a good outdoor area, with heaters if it's cold out (as it was the day I visited). The service was friendly and overall I just felt good about the place.
There were 15 beers on tap when I visited, with a wide range of styles: several kinds of IPA, a blonde, a strong Scotch ale, maibock, dark German lager, stout, brown ale, American-style lager, hefeweizen, red ale, witbier, imperial stout, and a kellerbier. I love to see a kellerbier! What I had was pretty good, and I definitely want to come back and sample more one of these days.

Valholl's taproom is small (room for maybe 20), with a friendly Poulsbo vibe, and a good selection of interesting beers. There were 11 beers on tap on my last visit (a few months ago, written up now from notes) - 2 IPAs, a DIPA, a TripleIPA, a Dubbel, a Pale, a barrel aged smoked rye that approached barleywine territory, and a few others. The wooden tables come complete with wormholes. Prices are quite reasonable. Flights are encouraged, with tasters at $1 or $2, depending on ABV. The beer is interesting and pretty well made. This is well worth a stop if you're on the west side of the Sound.

Valholl is one street off the main tourist strip in Poulsbo in a small building. As with many businesses in the Poulsbo area it has a Viking theme, which actually fits craft beer well (i.e. big burly dudes with beards). The place was packed early on New Years Eve, but the service was attentive and adequate. The crowd appeared to be mostly friendly locals. They had around a dozen taps running including a couple nice IPAs and a good Imperial Stout. Overall a nice place to quaff a few.

Cool spot sort of tucked away off the main roads of the small town of Poulsbo (but aren't all breweries?). Great area inside using old barrels, picnic tables and just a bit rustic look to it. Has an actual homebrew three kettle setup right above a table which is interesting to see. Has a tv as well for watching a World Cup Final. Nice staff and is all ages so bring the kids with lunch.
