Pours a black color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong roasted malt, slight sweet malt, alcohol, slight chocolate, yeast, and slight citrus. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level and slight tartness. Tastes of strong roasted malt, hint of coffee, sweet malt, slight alcohol, dark citrus, hint of hop, hint of yeast, and a hint of chocolate. Overall, weak appearance, but good aroma, body, blend, and complexity; the roasted malt is especially strong.

Draft at local bar. Dark brown reddish pour with off white head- 2fb. Smells strongly of cherries, cocoa, roasted Malta. Tastes sour cherry up front with mod note coffee, Malta and end note of sour cherry with slightly bitter finish. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, little carbonation.
Overall, interesting beer and I wouldn't turn it down if offered- but wouldn't go out of my way to find it

Look: Deep brown color. Pours with a small tan head that dies down quickly leaving remnants of foam on the surface of the beer and a few spots of lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell: Coffee and very sour cherry.
Taste: Sour cherry start, then coffee flavor, with a very tart aftertaste at the end.
Feel: Medium body; slight fizzy sensation from the carbonation, with a slight pucker at the end.
Overall: As described - a sour cherry stout. Interesting. VERY sour/tart. I liked it, but didn't love it. I would drink this again on occasion if in the mood; but there are many beers I prefer. I'm glad I tried this as it is unique.
