On-tap 3/6/2016 at Flynn’s in Mansfield, MA, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a cloudy light yellow color, with a large foamy off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a very thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains wheat, citrus, vanilla, caramelized malts and a good amount of hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet and creamy with flavors of citrus and vanilla. Then some breadiness comes in from wheat and a hearty malt character. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium-to-high carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Flavorful, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good variation of style, this is a very interesting beer and is worth drinking for a while if you want something different.

Poured into a small shaker pint. Pours a hazy, light straw amber with a half finger white head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of wheat, lemon, tangerine, pineapple and a hint of vanilla. Flavor is lemon peel, orange and melon with peppery spicing, developing light, dry grassy hop bitterness before finishing with lingering, lightly resinous hops with an interesting vanilla flavor lingering around the edges; hints of saison yeast. Light to medium bodied with active carbonation. A nice lemon forward wheat ale that is light in flavor, but somewhat complex. The middle taste seems light and tapers off into the dry, bitter finish, but the vanilla is revealed at the end and makes the finish interesting. A nice off-beat wheat ale with some good peripheral flavors. Odd and enjoyable, which keeps me coming back to Omnipollo..

330 ml bottle into pint glass, best before 7/13/2016. Pours hazy golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pineapple, peach, pear, apple, peppercorn, clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus/tropical hops, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pineapple, peach, pear, apple, peppercorn, clove, wheat, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, light vanilla, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pineapple, peach, pear, apple, peppercorn, clove, wheat, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus/tropical hops, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness and yeast spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent pale wheat ale style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus/tropical hops, and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. I got pretty minimal vanilla presence in the flavor; but as a hoppy wheat ale this was extremely well done. A very enjoyable offering.
