Inspiration comes in many shapes and forms. In this case it’s in a Blueberry Cheesecake Stout. Brewed with maple syrup and blueberries.

A: Lots of maple syrup, with cocoa/coffee like dark roasted malts, light sweetness, with a light but noticeable blue berry note.
A: Black color, opaque, with a thin, than head that has decent retention.
T: Maple with dark chocolate, light coffee like notes from the malts, lightly sweet, with vanilla and blue berries, coupled with a light roast bitterness.
M: Full bodied with moderately light carbonation.
O: Tasty; the beer has a great maple quality that complements the dark roast malts well. The blueberries act as a nice enhancement on the finish.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017, green session. Aroma is huge on the maple and also has chocolate, fudge and cacao biscuits. Taste has cacao, acidic roast and bitter baker's chocolate. Smooth on the palate.
