On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Black colour, no head. Sweetish aroma of pecan nuts, hazelnuts, chocolate and roast malts. Sweet flavour with the same element as the aroma, a good dessert beer, but hard to drink more than a small glass.

330 mL bottle. Black, no head, not that inky. Smells of hazelnut and cocoa. Tastes of booze, nuts, dry roasted malt and cocoa. Bitter back end. Not all that sweet. Medium heavy. Good adjunct flavors. Kinda masks everything else, but at least the base stout isn't that sugary.

From Hopt. In Teku glass. Playing Avernum 4. Clear hazelnut notes well integrated with chocolate, vanilla and a delicious sweetness. Invites to quick sips in spite of its high abv. No foam

11.2oz. bottle served in a tulip. Pours one shade shy of black with no head, just a tight band around the edges and an oily swirl across the center. Nose expresses a tremendous amount of hazelnut, followed by milk chocolate and perhaps a hint of espresso. Taste is akin to a hazelnut cream chocolate cordial; however, there's also a hint of cinnamon in the flavor profile. That said, flavors are a little less decadent then suggested by the nose. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body (closer to light) with a mild carbonation. Overall, quite tasty without being cloying.

This is the bourbon barrel aged version of Noa Pecan Mud Cake with hazelnuts added.
Nice look, pitch black with a three fingers beige head.
The smell is less exuberant than the original bourbon version and shows some nice hazelnuts notes.
The nuts are also present in the taste. The bourbon can be more easily find compare to the original bourbon version. Some booziness is noted. The taste is balanced and refined.
The mouthfeel is less thick than the original version.
Overall this is a great barrel aged dessert stout.

A: Lots of chocolate with prominent hazelnuts, moderately light sweetness, with light coconut, and faint vanilla.

A: Deep black color, with a very thin, mostly uniform tan colored head that has decent retention.

T: Chocolate upfront, with hazel nuts, light coconut, moderate malt sweetness, with light vanilla, and moderate roast bitterness.

M: Full bodied with moderately light carbonation.

O: Tasty; the beer has a great chocolate, hazelnut character. Definitely a dessert stout, but isn't cloying.

Tan head. Black color. Thick.

Supposedly bourbon barrel aged, but I am having a tough time seeing it. The hazelnuts show a lot. Very nutty. Chocolate, fudge, and cake batter. Vanilla. Typical omnipollo dessert stout base here. Very enjoyable. I just wish the bourbon showed. Not sure what happened here.

Pours pitch black with low, fine chocolate colored foam.

Smell is all about hazelnuts with a nice base of chocolate and some coconut.

Taste is sweet and nutty and a bit boozy. Hazelnuts, chocolate and coconut again pull the wagon here. Ends on a pretty powerful bitterness.

Mouthfeel is not as thick as the Pecan, which is a shame.

Overall, a very nice stout, not quite up to the Noa Pecan and a few other Omnipollo stouts though.

Black color with mocha head. Aroma has pecans, hazelnuts, rum, maple and chocolate syrup. Taste is balanced with nice chocolate bitterness and rum notes. Coconut, some liquor and cacao. Medium body and carbonation. Still nice but the pecan variants were better.
