Really hazy bright yellow color with off-white head. Aroma has vanilla, creme brulee, egg yolk and powdered sugar. Taste is sweet with vanilla biscuit notes, ice cream and some light hop bitterness on the finish. Medium body and carbonation, quite smooth feel. Interesting experiment but not as good as others from the series.

Pours an unclear bright orange with fine, soapy foam.

Smell is sweet and full of vanilla, with some notes of peaches and citrus.

Taste is... well vanilla ice cream, sweet and topped with peaches. Fruity with a mild bitterness and a hint of booze.

Mouthfeel is medium and soft, well carbonated.

Overall, an IPA that tastes very much ike soft serve vanilla ice cream. Tasty, if maybe a tad sweet.

Well If you're waiting for a vanilla ice cream, just come this way! The ale shows a strong vanilla presence, and a certain lactose character.

If you're waiting for a double ipa, this is not it. Okay you've got some citrusy hops but they're not the biggest part of the beer

From Hopt. In Teku glass. Playing Avernum 3. Honors its name, with plenty of vanilla notes, lactose and a grassy citrusy fresh hoppyness that also provide a good bitter punch.

Pours a slightly cloudy deep golden coloration with a medium, fizzy head. Smell is an intriguing mix of vanilla, lactose and citrus and tropical fruit notes: grapefruit, tangerine, passion fruit, guava. The vanilla clearly dominates, giving this an almost candy-like quality. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by a sweet vanilla flavour, but with juicy, zesty citrus and tropical fruit notes of grapefruit, tangerine and passion fruit as well, rounded out by light, biscuity malt. Finishes quite bittersweet, with a certain zestiness coming through in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

This is a very unique IPA with an outstanding balance of sweet, juicy, zesty and bitter notes that work together incredibly well. This really isn't called "vanilla icream" for nothing, with an almost candy-like character that never becomes too sweet due to the oustanding balance of juicy, bitter notes as well. I never quite had an IPA like this before.
