Quite dark, the opaque brick red to purple body has a beautifully magenta foam head.

All the berries pervade this sweet, syrupy, sticky mess, with raspberry up front and blueberry in the finish, and only a hint of peanut butter near the some-fucking-how chewy dry finish.

Electric. Sugar. Vitamins.

Is this the first time you ever drank a Surge?

A: Pours an almost opaque yet still clear deep purplish red in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate deep ruby red + deep garnet red + purple (like red wine) colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy fizzy foamy pinkish head that reduces to a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering a little more than 75% of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of sweet strawberry raspberry jam over the top of light to moderate aromas of peanut butter and toasted bready +slightly sour wheat malts with a minimal amount of malty sweetness. Light hints of brininess and lemon citrus lactic tartness.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of toasted bready +slightly sour wheat malts with a minimal amount of malty sweetness and light flavors of lemon citrus lactic tartness. That is followed by light flavors of peanut butter and a light amount of brininess. Finally there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of sweet strawberry raspberry jam. Overall there is a light to moderate amount of lingering tartness.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a light amount of acidic prickliness

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and refreshing. Enjoyable and interesting - it does a great job of bringing back childhood school lunches crossed with a gose. I would definitely consider this one again if I ever come across it.

On tap at the Beer Station (SC).
Pours with a hazy, purple-maroon body topped with a thin white head that leaves minimal lacing.
Exceptionally interesting and appealing aroma with PB&J.
The flavor is nicely balanced and highly complex. Moderate tartness for style with some sweetness up front.
Light carbonation in a medium body.

Fruity, light, tart and highly redolent with childhood lunches, Onmipollo's PB&J rendition of gose, provides a sweet and sour flavor with hints of strawberry jam, peanut butter and toast to go along with the creamy wheat to support the natural souring power of lacto-fermentation for a medley of taste that's acidic and complex.

Bianca Peanut Butter Jelly Lassi Gose pours a visually dense ruby, almost purple and crimson hue and nearly turbid. A dainty pinkish, loose zest rises and falls quickly, filling the nose with jaw-tightening aromas of strawbrerry jam, green apple and a citrus medley with a gentle waft of nuttiness and brine. Its taste is just as jelly-like, filled with candied strawberries and a sweeter overall berry cobbler attitude.

Its maltiness drops from underneath and allows the premier taste of strawberry flavor to command the middle palate. Lactic fermentation provides the sharp flavors of lime and lemon with cider, white wine, raspberry, blackberry, gooseberry and the robust tang of red grape. But its the strawberry additions that give a robust sweet flare to the taste that reads like stewed, macerated, richer sangria character through much of the session.

Crisp, refreshing, but also sweet, the beer's refreshing fruit taste is a little work on the palate with a higher rate of residual sweetness that's common for gose. Creamy and acidic, its thirst quenching properties trails shortly in aftertaste with a finish of rounded saltwater taffy with a soft afterglow of whole wheat and stewed berries.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours hazy dark ruby red/purple color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy strawberry, raspberry, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, and biscuit dough; with lighter notes of peanut butter, peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of berry jam, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, pale/wheat malts, and light peanut butter notes; with big strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy strawberry, raspberry, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, and biscuit dough; with lighter notes of peanut butter, peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light bitter/spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy berries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of berry jam, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, pale/wheat malts, and light peanut butter flavors; with a great malt/tart/sourness and tangy fruit balance; with minimal puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness and tangy fruit. Medium-plus carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, acidic/tangy/tannic, fairly crisp, and lightly saline balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an awesome fruited gose. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of berry jam, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, pale/wheat malts, and light peanut butter flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic/salty. Awesome balance of super jammy berries, and Lacto complexity; with a great lactose and pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp lingering acidic/tangy dryness. A really enjoyable offering. Hardly any PB flavor, but impressively spot on for a fruited gose otherwise.
