Aroma is raspberries/fruit, malts and a hint of vinegar. The flavor is raspberries, fruit/tropical fruit, malts/grains and a very slightly spicy/sweet finish.

Taking Sour Ale to South Beach, Omnipollo finds fruity inspiration in the pastel and popped collar. Modeled after a Miami Vice demeanor, their fruit cocktail inspired sour ale carries a similar glitz and glam.
Peachy, rosey and pink, the firmly hazy beer crowns with a light and airy froth of the same color. Rife with a bevy of fruit aromatics, notions of wine spritzer, fruit cocktail and sourdough teases the nose. A bit sweeter on the tongue, the taste of cream candy, taffy and light pastry graces the tastebuds with a malty upstart.
As the ale rolls along the middle palate, the raspberry, pineapple, and coconut become more apparent. Only tart in nature, an underlying taste of white grape, green apple, lemon and cherry complete the fruit daiquiri intent. Hints of vanilla, vinous spice and fruit skins resonate in a light bitterness and pectin-rich late palate.
Medium bodied and only teasing with sourness, the beer is more of a fruit beer than a sour ale. A finish of smoothie and sangria seems to sell that daiquiri character well, but for sour ale lovers the beer simply under delivers. Much like other things of Miami, the beer has high promises but largely under delivers.
