Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 3-17-22 into a snifter.

Look- Black, opaque, visible particulate at the margins, dark brown creamy head, above average lacing, average head retention.

Smell- Apple, strawberry, coffee, cinnamon, between medium and high strength of scent.

Taste- Strawberry, coffee, apple, cinnamon, moderately sweet, highly bitter, extremely high strength of flavor.

Feel- Full body, below average carbonation, highly creamy, moderately mouth warming, highly mouth coating.

Overall- Black and opaque with visible particulate at the margins. Bouquet was apple, strawberry, coffee and cinnamon with great balance. The flavor much of the same with punch you in the face intensity. Feel was full body with high creaminess and mouth coating properties with moderate mouth warming. Overall this was a fantastically flavorful and enjoyable beer that provided an outstanding drinking experience!

The beer pours jet black and thick like gear oil. Using a tulip glass, I served the beer at around 52 degrees. The pour created a creamy two-fingered dark brown head with excellent retention. The slow dissipation left lacing on the glass. I am charting color somewhere around SRM 34, dark brown, nearly jet black, with no discernable hues. The overall appearance is above average.
Nosing the glass, I smell dark chocolate, molasses, caramel, earthiness, dark roasted malts, apples, a hint of char, strawberries, and floral esters.
The flavors are berries, over-ripen apples, medium chocolate, molasses, caramel, earthiness, dark roasted malts, breadiness, light coffee, floral esters, and a touch of brown sugar.
The mouthfeel is creamy. The body is heavy, has low carbonation, and has a long finish.
This beer threw me for a loop. The apples and strawberries make for a unique combination. The apple taste over-ripens and the strawberries are weak. A burp confirms what I was thinking not good. The imperial stout is average, the adjuncts not so much. I will not revisit this one.

Incredibly unusual brew; pours out like used motor oil, sticky and thick and viscous, from the 16oz can...dark tan head. Leads with fruity sweetness, the strawberry and apple pie character blend well with roasted malt and some coffee/espresso notes. After reading the can again, some apple pie spices arrive as well, not sure if that's a mental thing or not...surprisingly cohesive considering that fruited stouts are one of my least favorite dark-brew variants. Alcohol warmth...decadent, creamy, and oily.

L: Jet black color, no head or lacing to speak of, no visible carbonation.

S: Sweet pastry, alcohol. Aroma is just ridiculous!

T: Sweet pastry but not as sweet, alcohol, smooth. Delicious.

F: Medium bodied, nicely flavored. I expected more body.

O: Delicious sweet-ish party imperial stout.

On tap at Omnipollos Hatt.

Pours jet black with soft, tan head.

Smell is sweet with notes of strawberry jam, fudge, chocolate, apples and pie crust.

Taste is sweet and intense, with notes of apple pie, strawberry jam, rasisins and dired fruit. Slight tartness on the finish.

Mouthfeel is thick, rich and creamy. Well carbonated.

Overall, a very interesting stout, Omnipollo is at it's best when it goes weird, I think.

De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Jugando a Ori and the Blind Forest. Suave toque a fresa, que siendo agradable no hace que destaque como uno de mis pastelitos favoritos de omnipollo. Del abv ni rastro, eso si
