Opaque blood-of-the-slaughtered-calf red with a short pastel salmon foam head.
Sticky thick and sweet of maple chews for days, a mild cherry-berry flavor is barely able to cut through that sugar onslaught.
It's a bit much to deal with and hard not to deduct for it, but hey, the pendulum Mornin' Delight struck continues to swing.

Who knew that pie filling could be a beer? Omnipollo. That's who. In what's basically alcoholic jam, their Bianca Lassi Gose takes a cherry maple pancake turn.
Deep and blood red, the viscous onset of the pour releases a neon pink crown. Very non-beer-like to the eye, the nose is equally confused by the savory, sour and fruity scent of condensed cherry, maple syrup and red wine. Succulent, creamy and sweet on the tongue, a bold pastry sweetness carries a striking character of cherry pie filling.
The cherry flavors only intensify on the middle palate as the acid-laced grain sugars spread across the tongue, saturating the tastebuds to utter completion. As elements of crabapple, lime, lemon, gooseberry and red wine add charm and balance to the lingering fruit sweetness, the sourness of the ale slices through the rich malts and shocks the tastebuds with acute vinous acidity and a peppery fruit skin character.
Full bodied and certainly so for sour ale, the Bianca Cherry Maple Pancake Lassie Gose finishes fruity-sour and with a sweet cherry glaze complement. A finish of red wine allows for a long extension of fruit sugars that sit on the aftertaste like soda and jam.

Appearance: Pours out thick with liquid the color of Sangria; the rose-colored foamy head rises to three fingers and shows great retention and leaves webs of lacing
Smell: The sweet cherry and maple tones dominate the aroma but there is a subtle tart element that can be discerned
Taste: Hard cherry candy with a growing maple syrup presence; hints of vanilla in the mix, as well, that provide a creamsicle element; after the swallow, the tart side makes its impression and grows to dominate the sweet apsect in the finish
Mouthfeel: Full bodied (and I mean full-bodied) and creamy with moderate carbonation
Overall: I don't taste any salt here but I assume it is in there like it is in salt water taffy; anyway, love the creativity here and really enjoyed this for a change of pace; the maple syrup really works well

From the bottom of the can: "19/11/21; 12:34 19/11/21; VF2476"
Appearance: The body of the beer is a deep, dark purple color. It is completely opaque. The head is medium-large and fluffy with large bubbles riding the surface. The head is a purple-pink color that is very interesting. It has very good lacing and head retention.
Aroma: It smells like maple syrup. Getting the nose down to where it will touch the foam reveals a very faint fruity aroma but it is nondescript and it goes away in favor of the strong maple syrup aroma. Up front there is a tart blackberry flavor mixed with maple syrup. A sour fruit flavor washes across the tongue as it passes to the middle of the mouth. Towards the middle it takes on a raspberry character and more of that sweet maple syrup. The aftertaste has a bit of a bitter fruit character. The aftertaste is like raspberry puree mixed with maple syrup and a hint of tart strawberry right at the very end. There is an odd metallic taste to the beer that popped up at first then went away, then started to come back as the beer was consumed more. It seems to come and go but it is not all that pleasant.
Mouthfeel: It is smooth and full bodied with a light alcohol warmth. It is a sipper but it is easy to enjoy.
Overall: A very enjoyable beer. The back of the can states that this is a "SOUR ALE WITH CHERRIES, VANILLA, LACTOSE SUGAR & MAPLE SYRUP ADDED." It didn't stand out as a beer made or flavored with cherries, but rather it had a bit more of a raspberry flavor. The maple syrup character was strong but the vanilla wasn't obviously present. It's a fantastic beer but the showcase fruit, the cherries, seemed to be missing. I'd still drink it again because the beer as a whole is outstanding, but if given the choice I'd probably pick another variety of Maple Pancake Lassi Gose because this one doesn't seem to showcase the cherry at all. It's worth drinking if it's readily available but if given the option to try another version of the beer I'd recommend chancing on that instead.

Pours deep purplish red, with pink foam. Smells sweet, maple, intense cherry candy. Thick, dense mouthfeel. Massive sweetness, of course, with some nice tart cherries cutting through. Maple, saltyness. So much liquid diabetes, and hardly beer, but so yum.

A 500ml can, with a best before date of 28th November 2020. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A dark murky red with tints of purple and a two finger pinkish purple head that had excellent retention and left lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Sweet, vanilla, milkshake, maple, lightly tart, with notes of cherry.
Taste: Sweet, tart, cherry, cherry hard candies, maple, pancake, and vanilla.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: The tart cherry balances out the maple sweetness and the cherry hard candy flavours gives off a slight cough medicinal flavour that I like.
