Copenhagen 28/4 2024. 33 cl bottle from Beer Me web-shop. Print of a gaping mouth and lips with a lot of drool and a golden teeth.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side off the glass. No leaving but a bit of smudge on the side of the glass.
Aroma is intense with a strong malty odor with a bit of roastiness. Roasted dark malts. Toffee, brown sugar and vanilla. Woody, boozy Bourbon.
Low carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, fat, creamy, smooth and soft, flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet without being cloying due to a menacing boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is fat and potent.
Like a Milkshake made out of dark malts and alcohol. Pleasant potency.

Aroma of caramel, bourbon, vanilla. chocolate, wood, syrup and some coconut.
Full body, sticky texture, no carbonations. Too sweet finish.
Taste follows the aroma.
Great, maybe too sweet. Or else I'm starting to be fed up with pastries.
Warm and boozy. And of course, good beer to drink while listening to "In the Court of the Crimson King" ;-)
