A very complex equation we got here.
Although this looks black, it is not a porter. Not even sure if it is a beer. It smells like liquorice. Maybe faintly like the glazing on gingerbread but it tastes closer to coke than anything else. Slightly tart? It is really similar to liquorice... or rather like some kind of cough syrup. Does not taste awful though, but only if you drink it as a kind of a soda. Fails as a beer though.

No ginger flavor, no bread flavor, doesn't taste like a porter, all with that awful fake low alcohol flavor and sensation. I'm trying to taste this within its category even, and it's hard. I couldn't finish the can.
