Okay I gotta start with letting the cat out of the bag: this beer is way better than I thought!
I never thought that low alcohol beers COULD taste good either but I guess that’s just because of the experience I’ve had with non alc beers in the past, but this, this is good!
First off, it pours a very pale straw-like something, looks pretty weak tbh - made me think not to get my hopes up too high. But the aroma! Amazing! Boy it sure does live up to its name, a “pale ale dry-hopped with Citra” because it has Citra all over it, very intensive, very in-your-face, very nice. And when I tasted it... well, I was stunned. It has so much Citra in it that it’s just tremendous! I might even think that they put more hops into it than in an average alcoholic beer, just to balance out the lack of malts and alcohol.
And it doesn’t feel too thin either. Of course you miss the malts in there but I guess it’s because you’re used to them. But the hops are so much in there that they make up for it. It tastes almost like a hop juice. Very juicy, very hoppy, extremely citrusy - to an extent that it’s almost sour in a way. It is almost like a session IPA, actually.
I never thought that low alc could be a thing but ever since I read about them here on BA maybe last year, I have been wanting to try them out and well, here we are. I enjoyed it - and looking forward to the next 5 cans that we bought in IKEA yesterday. And I don’t even miss the alcohol! Unbelievable ;)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
