Copenhagen 12/7 2021. 33 cl can from SuperBrugsen, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Black can with a Abdia symbol from the pentagram of Solomon. Very spiritual.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong odor of sweet, tropical fruit mingling with a bit more subtle citric notes. Peach and papaya. Grapefruit and lime. Zesty and a bit acerbic.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and bitter.
Not especially Spiritual but a quite bitter and searing experience. Superb if you like them intense, dry and unforgiving.
