16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 5/11/21, so 6 months old.
Looks excellent in the glass. Solid dark orange juice colored body. Big white head persists throughout leaving layers of lacing.
Warm non citrus fruit aromas.
On tasting, very fruity, all non citrus. Also very warm from the abv. On the sweet side. No real hoppiness, likely age related. Still a tasty drink though.
Mouth between medium and full. Finish sweet, fruity, warm and a little boozy.
Overall, an enjoyable beer. Would like to try one a month or two old, to taste the hop hit.

Picked this up recently at ShopRite Liquors in Little Falls as I never reviewed anything from Omnipollo on here before. I had a few of their collaborations with Tired Hands in the Other Half line over the years and always loved what I was able to sample, so when I saw this available via a single can, I had to give it a go. Yes, it's strong but yes, there's so much goodness going on here that I didn't even notice how potent it was in the end!
Not a bad look to this beer as it was an occluded goldenrod that was nearly uniform in hue and topped off with a small head of foam that quickly settled down. Tons of sugar, citrus, tangerine cream, and cloying lactose in the nose as the taste easily followed suit. While this wasn't a bad beer, it felt a tad too artificial for me to rate any higher on here. It was soft, sweet, and not the least bit cloying on the palate but it was just the sense that beer shouldn't be...um, this sweet and creamy on it's own. This nearly felt like ice cream at room temperature and if you enjoy that with some hops and booze thrown into the mix, then you've found your match with this offering!
The carbonation was light and the aftertaste felt like cake - minus the grittiness - but the slickness of the liquid and the stickiness of the aftertaste were nearly enough to cover for the potency of this beer. Dated 5/11 on the bottom of the can, this was old but didn't taste or feel that way at all as it looked, tasted, and felt plenty fresh for this imbiber. Loved the can art and wanted to love this beer but in the end, I liked it plenty and wish it was just a bit more authentic. As a dessert, this wouldn't be a bad choice should you wish to avoid a Stout...

Great flavor. Light body, creamy mouthfeel. Had on draft, carbonation was on the lighter side. Coloring is a little strange, milky straw color with a slight white head.

Look: very hazy peach color. Big, plush off white head. Messy lacing.
Smell: citrus with a touch of cream and sugar.
Taste: like the nose. Very juicy. Well done.
