Pours a peach-colored hazy brew with a one finger frothy head that doesn't last long. The aroma is mildly strawberry and citrus. Taste follows with the addition of a sweet, light chocolate profile. The hops are mild; this is a good introduction to DIPA for those looking to try out the style.

16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a hazy orange gold color with 3 fingers of sudsy off-white head. Not much retention; the head is gone in a hurry. Leaves a fair bit of sticky cobweb lacing.
The smell brings strong berry aromas, namely blueberries and of course, strawberries. There's some faint white chocolate fudge and cocoa powder on the back.
The flavor follows the nose: Strawberries and lightly tart blueberries up front, followed by white chocolate chips and subtle cocoa.
The feel is medium-full bodied with lower carbonation. Creamy and smooth. Surprisingly boozy.
Overall, this is an interesting "milkshake IPA". It doesn't have any vanilla, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but it definitely could use some damn vanilla. Other than that, it comes exactly as advertised on the can, minus the strong booziness. The white chocolate is a bit of an odd flavor here, though. I think it would have been better with just cacao nibs. But that's just my opinion. Regardless, you're getting exactly what you payed for: A strawberry flavored DIPA with some white chocolate and "cocoa" nibs. *shrugs*
