3 months old. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours a completely opaque dark yellow with a fluffy white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Some yeast sediment gathering in the bottom of the glass.
S: Overripe tropical and stone fruit paired with grassy, even a bit earthy and woody hints.
T: Ripe tropical fruits, candied citrus fruits and sweet strawberries. Grassy and a bit herbal. Sweet, but not overly so. Slightly bitter and zesty. Very hoppy. Very fruity.
F: Full and juicy with a low carbonation and a slight burn.
O: Had the first of my two cans when it was just over a month old. Even though I already enjoyed it at this point, I decided to wait some time before I would open the second one since it was still a bit green. As is the case with many high ABV IPAs, this one benefited from a bit of aging. The original flavor notes are still there, but in a smoother, more balanced way. Thankfully, the beer didn‘t lose its complexity which makes it overall superior to the fresher version. Great beer and definitely worth the wait.
