Copenhagen 31/5 2026. 33 cl can from Øltanken web-shop. Black and purple can with a little round symbol of droplets in a round yin and yang symbol. Very spiritual.
Pours almost clear pale yellow with a huge white head. Stable. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam unable of coverting the surface of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruits mingling with a citric scent. Sweet papaya and peach. Tart citrus and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry and tart.
A nice vist to Tokyo, Sweden.

473ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase. Have tried a couple of these but drank from the can, this is the official review. Canned April 1, 2025.
Appearance - Fairly hazy, standard golden brew with two fingers of big fluffy white head. Good staying power and excellent spidery lacing.
Smell - Dankness with some weediness, guava an papaya. Robust and citrusy nose. This element is greatly enhanced relative to drinking from the can.
Taste - More papaya with some mango in the mix. Floral element as well. Another element that seems greatly better than if sipped from the can. Tiny hint of pepper at the end.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, with medium carbonation. Pretty easy to drink.
Overall - Wonderful appearance and nose and the rest of the brew holds up well. Significantly better if served in a glass. Worthy of a tipple or two for sure.
