473ml can served cool into a tulip. LCBO purchase for around $4.50 CDN. Canned November 17, 2023.
Appearance - Hazy and the color of dark straw. Two and a half fingers of foamy white head on top. Great head retention and streaky lacing left behind.
Smell - Grapes with some citrus like grapefruit. Subtle suggestion of peach and pear. Fairly intense aromatics.
Taste - Some grape quality but more citrus. A bit of grapefruit and peach too. A touch peppery on the back end.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, expressive carbonation and semi-dry finish. The peppery quality makes the feel of the beer have more action on the tongue.
Overall - Pretty solid IPA from Omnipollo again, not sure if it's as good as Zodiak, but the Nelson Sauvin hops are definitely noticeable and the beer is just plain tasty. Well worth a try if you can find it.
