Poured a blackish body with one finger almost brown head and some lace. For some reason the first thing I pick up, in the aroma at least is molasses, then some sweet malts like caramel, dark chocolate, maybe toffee and some roasted malts along with hints of dark fruits. Smooth, slightly chewey in a fuller body, the taste is sweet with some vanilla and chocolate, along with caramel, and there is some roasted malts for dryness and balance. The 8% is well-hidden as I had no idea until told that it had that much alcohol. Good sipper and a must try.
