Poured from the cask into a snifter at Churchkey DC.
Heavily soaped up bubbled head, with a shampoo large off white collar that settles slowly. Peach orange and classic opaque body classic to typical Wings of Armageddon.
Crazy aroma. Garlic, hints of buttered bread. Small hints of dill. Lots of weed and aromas. Weed weed weed, a giant amount of it, and then some pickled juice qualities. All over the place, kind of something you'd find in the grocery store in the ethnic food section.
Palate comes with much of the hint. Even for cask like feel, this is missing much of the body and depth. Still slightly watery even for out of the cask, but a musty mix of spices and dill. Pickle briney character, with some matching hop aromatics of wood and tropical oranges.
This unique take out of the cask isn't for everyone. It's obviously there to emphasize and exaggerate any dank like aromas. But if these are flavors you don't care for, you really need to stay away from this. It does dumb the beer down slightly but luckily doesn't take away too much of its great qualities. It's at least fun and enjoyable for what it is.
