Gift can poured into tulip two weeks later with chicken shawarma. Very easy drinker for the end of the night!

Ouch, just bought this recently in the store, and really sorry I didn't check the date. 2019 vintage
Pours a large foamy almost 3 finger head with med retention, a bit of spotty lacing, hazy straw color
Nose straw malt cereal grain, grainy sweet pilsner malt, a little bready, light herbal slight citrus hop character, ignoring the slight age to it
Taste cereal grain, pilsner malt, a bit bready and grainy, light herbal fruity hop with citrus, med bitterness, hops getting a bit spicy and a little sulfate note, touch yeasty (ignoring that), crisp spicy hop finish with higher bitterness
Mouth is med to a little lighter bod, med higher frothy carb, soft lager
Overall I can def get the age, but if I ignore that it's a pretty solid pilsner

Hazy straw color. Modest head but it sticks around. Some spots for lace.
Frothy and earthy aromas. I get a bit of cream and nearly no hop. Oddly attractive.
Highly carbonated, especially given the thinner body. The flavor remains earthy but watery. The hop is present here but not strong enough to dominate. The finish is brief and the aftertaste is short. It's easy to drink and not quite a macro-offering, but it is awfully close. I'm certain that it would be refreshing if you were dehydrated.

A thanks to the prince of pilsner, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Despite a gentle pour, this beer came sprinting out, resulting in a bright yellow color with a 3 inch head. Smell is surprisingly full of lemons. Taste is of malts, lemons, a touch of hops. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an easy drinking and decent beer.

Here I am, back to drinking a steady diet of Lagers & especially Pilsners. There is CANother hot, humid day looming & I just want to beat the heat while furthering The CANQuest (tm).
From the CAN: "[Art by:] @AldenLeonard"; "Washington Blade America's LGBT News Source".
I was kind of anxious to Crack! open the vent on this one since I was now starting to jones for a Pils! I am running through them as quickly as I come across them, either in my backlog or on offer. A slow, steady C-Line Glug produced just over two fingers of foamy, soapy, rocky, bone-white head with moderate retention. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4). Nose had the biscuity maltiness that is the hallmark of the GER Pils style. Mmm. Mouthfeel was light & airy, I hesitate to call it "watery", but it was not really "medium", either. No big deal. The taste was definitely of toasty, biscuity malts with just a kiss of the hops. I CAN dig it, but I would prefer more hops. Finish was clean, dry, refreshing & everything that a Pils should be on a hot, humid Summer's day.

Cloudy strawbody and heavy biscuit note is a plus. No head is not, but the noble hop snap does give the nose balance, so that's good. Fairly big, chewy flavor for the style; malt led but still decent balance as per the nose. Yeasty and kind of old school although I could use a little more body in the back end. Hops continue to show up in the aftertaste. Definitely worth a try if you like flavorful pilsners.

I'm usually a fan of DC Brau products when I can find them while traveling. This one, however, was unusual in that it was a disappointment. Can says it's a "German Style Lager" - maybe so but the body is definitely lacking and the taste and feel are rather weak compared to other German Lagers I've consumed. I will, however, give a plus to the can art - very eye-catching on the store shelf.

There are lots of obvious jokes, not only about the name of the beer, but also can art, but I'm NOT going to make them, as much as I'd like to.
In all seriousness, it is nice to see a brewer reach out the LGBTQ community, even if there are only dudes on the label, and I'd be willing to wager that there are more out women than men that are into craft beer, based on personal experience. Anyhow...
Pours clear yellow, would like a more voluminous head, but what's there sticks around and leaves nice lace.
Bready malt aroma, bit of dried hay, grass, herbal hops
Lots of bready malt, very clean. Grassy, herbal hops. Would like a bit more of a bitter finish.
Mouthfilling, but goes down easy.
A nice, easy drinker for warm weather
