Slightly hazy gold, dense white head, excellent retention, rings of lace
Aromas of white wine, vanilla, oak, and red berries
Kinda weird tasting: fruity white wine, vanilla and oak, a hint of cocoa, and red berries. Like a rose wine that was aged in a heavy char barrel. Don't think I like it, but it could just be so different from any other beer I've had that I don't know what to make of it. Some porridge grainy flavor as well.
Medium bodied and appropriately carbonated, coats the palate a bit, needs a bit more crispness
Not really sure what I make of it. Maybe I'll update this review after I make my way through the 4pk
