Bottle from the brewpub. Poured directly from the taps and crowned right after. Best before date was 16 days after I bought it. From notes.
A - Poured a hazy copper colour. Tiny amount of head with a small ring of white around the top. No visible carbonation and no lacing or retention.
S - Sweet fruity malt and some toffee. A little smoke and some roasty notes.
T - All the same as the aroma. Malty, some toffee, smoke and roast. A little more smokey. Considering I don't like smokey tastes this is not a good thing.
M - MIld tingly carbonation and a light to medium body.
O/D - Too much smoke for my liking. It's an interesting twist on a Dunkel just not my scene. I didn't have trouble finishing it but I wouldn't try it again.
