Not much body but a very radiant copper color. Light pine and tea leaf aroma, and I do mean light. I barely catch a barley malt flavor but it's there. Light pine hops, tea leaf and a squeeze of lemon give this an interesting iced tea flavor. The feel is super light and drinkable. Good enough but not great.

A very well balanced and refreshing pale ale with the perfect zesty hop citrus character paired with medium caramel maltiness.
Freedom Ranger pours the classic copper/amber hue with an orange glow around the edge of the glass. Mild haze attests to the dry hopped nature of the beer. Well headed, the beer is capped by a creamy white foam that both retains and laces resonably well.
Aromas of caramel, bread crust, and raw barley fill the nose along with a non-descript citrusy note and an earthy/piney note that reminds me of spicy English noble hops. Mild grain scent carries a faint musty note to accompany the malty sweet scent and the spicy citrus hop note.
Flavors of malt, caramel, and bread crust come together with a graham cracker-like taste and crispness. Hop bitterness rises at mid palate for an even-keel balance that offers fresh citrus bitterness and dry alcohol taste late. The grainy notes in aroma hasn't transered to taste.
Moderately creamy early, the beer has a nice fade from sweetness to dryness late for a very clean and crisp finish. Mild alcohol warmth provides a late earthy/minty taste that lingers into the aftertaste.
A very drinkable and likely a favorite offering from Beer Engine. While the beer foregoes any standout character, it hits all the marks of good pale ales and in equisite balance. Freedom Ranger should be non-offensive to all.
