Vintage 2016. 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Haugesund. Called a "dark wheat beer", ABV is 5.5%. Cloudy brown colour, low off-white head. Wheaty aroma with notes of banana and cloves, hints of brown bread and dishwater liquid. Moderate carbonation in the mouth. Tolerably refreshing flavour, wheaty and citrussy notes, hints of cloves and pepper, but again an unfortunate hint of dishwater liquid. Drinkable, but not a beer I’ll buy again. You can buy any German-brewed Dunkelweizen on the Norwegian market, and it will be better than this.
