Poured redish brown into a frosted pil sner. Slight white head. Continuous lacing while drinking. Nose is slight pine. Taste is crisp pine and bitter hops, but not overly hopped. Finished fairly smooth, medium body and plenty of carbonation. I liked it, but not a fav.

This IPA pours a light reddish orange color with a thin white head and a high level of carbonation. The smell is clearly of an IPA with grapefruit and piney notes, though it smells more measured than the west coast IPAs that I am used to and I imagine it tastes that way also. There is a bitter hoppiness the whole way through with a slight grapefruit flavor and a predominant pine flavor. There are slight flavors of caramel malts, but they are largely drowned out by the hops. The body is medium. This is more measured then a west coast IPA, but not as much as I thought it would be. It definitely lacks some of the polish of a good west coast IPA also though. It’s not a bad IPA, but it’s fairly unremarkable. There’s nothing wrong with it by any means and I would get it again, but I think there are better beers from this from this brewery.

This poured out as a copper color, not what I was expecting when I saw the label saying white ale. The head was decent and gave pretty good lacing for the majority of the time. The smell of this brew was pretty good for just a standard IPA. I could always ask for more hops but that's just me. The taste was a little too light also. I think that this beer could have used some more hops just to even get this up to the same level as most standard IPAs. This beer didn't really interest me too much.

Poured from the bottle resembling a perfect bronze/brown color. Very clear, with a large three finger head with good retention. Decent lacing also, fairly good looking actually.

Smells is mild grass, and a small tea like grassy-herb component with a perfume like quality. Not much hops or anything else, perhaps some sour like yeast, but it's an interesting muted nose.

Taste though is a wet body with no carbonation but a very alcohol sharp tinge giving way to some hop flavor but rather quickly. Watery hop very bitter afterfinish that strangely hits immediately but disappears fast. I was hoping some of the hops would stick around but they don't seem to.

A beer that starts off well but disapoints making for not that desirable. Had considerably better American style IPAs. It's not horrible, and I can drink it no problem but would rather have something else.

22oz bottle into a snifter.

Dark copper, clear, bright white head. Nice lacing though.

Slight hops on the nose with a most pronounced malt background. A bit to sweet though. Slight citrus.

Bitter and malty sweet. Slight citrus. Hop taste is equally stale as well.

Creamy, an light in body.

Though not offensive, this underwhelms completely.

Has an amber color with a white head. Some lacing.
A definite citrus smell, ore like an IPA (english) than an APA.
A mild citrus taste with a hoppy ending. Again, more English than American, which is not bad.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied.
Very drinkable, seasonal ale. A favorite summer thirst quencher.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy amber color with a massive head; great stickage and lace

Smell: Bready aroma with some earthy hop elements

Taste: Bready opening that makes a turn to the sweet side by mid-palate, with a hint of earthy hop development, too; after the swallow, the malt is dominant

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation

Drinkability: A decent drinker but not particularly memorable

Thanks, mikeale, for the opportunity

This beer is golden amber color with a piny citrus hop aroma. This is sweet to start with a good level of carbonation when a slight earthy citrus hop flavor emerges. This is a very good overall beer a great summer beer with a slight hoppyness but it no bitterness.

I picked up four assorted bombers while visiting the brewery with my last GF. Out of the bottle the beer was a light copper color with a white head. The retention was respectable and the lacing the same. The aroma was a good blend of biscuity malt and citrus hops. The flavors were a little odd; though some caramel sweetness was present in the malt I found the bitterness from the hops too strong. It struck me as indecisive, neither a good APA or an IPA. Though the finish was crisp I found the body a little too light. Sessionable for sure and not a bad beer but it really needed more of everything.

22 oz bottle bought at brewery poured into my pint class produce a copper colored body toped of with a white head that turned to a light lace on the glass

Aromas of biscuits and slight pine finish hit your nose. Flavors are crisp nice malt and hop balance. At first, it is a little more to the malt side than the hops but the hop presence is good in the finish
The mouthfeel is light and crisp a good session brew

This brew is more of pale ale than the IPA the brewer was shooting for. I think they should step up the hops some if that is what they are shooting for. It is even mild for a British IPA standpoint .a good brew other than that and very drinkable

Bought directly from the brewery. According to the brewery, this is their "version" of an IPA, not a pale ale, although I will agree it's somewhere in between.

Pours a light amber color with a great sized head, fades fairly fast but does leave good ring of lacing.

Smell is a good balance between malt and hops, favoring the hops just slightly, not a strong hop aroma for an IPA and seems rather mild.

Taste has a weird bitterness thing going on from the hops, could be from the balance that the malt has with this beer, slight caramel presence throws things off, very light bodied and does has a crispness, but the balance this beer has actually off-balances the flavors if that makes sense.

22oz bomber from Lou's in Augusta. Amber-red body with a quarter inch of off-white head. Smell like strong citrus hops with some hints of caramel malt. Tastes like citrus and piney hops with a good malt (caramel?) backbone to support it and a surprisingly clean finish. On the lighter side of medium body. Pleasant taste combines with lighter body to make a really drinkable beer. Somewhere between an APA and IPA in all aspects (kind of reminds me of Harpoon or Sea Dog IPA). A pretty damn good beer, and at 2.29$ per bomber, it really is a steal.

Got this straight from the brewery, in one of my first growlers. Not much of a head, but laced the glass nicely as I drank. Had a nice reddish amber hue, very clear though. Roasty smell at first, then the malts kick in. First taste is nice malts and bitters come through. A little chewy, could not quite identify why. Aftertaste is nice a smooth, a little rich, but overall a good brew. I thoroughly enjoyed this ale.
