Poured from the bottle into a shaker pint glass, hey it's all I got!

A real nice crystal clear amber orange, clear with a nice little rising carbonation. Head is a little fluffy with a light retention cap. Speckled lacing. Pretty dark for a German, but no complaints (Dortmund Lager?).

Bouquet is a light crisp hop, and a tight brown bread crisp and toasty with a little bit of honey. Refreshing, but some hints of possible light corn adjunct also.

Palate comes off though just a little weak. Sweet malts roll with hints of brown sugar and a good amount of caramel. Some brown bread in the aftertaste, but also a quite bit wet body with not much quality to carry the flavors. Mild sour grain finish too. A sort of gritty and hop malt combination feel also.

Overall it's not that bad, but nothing crazy to get over. It's super drinkable and I could see me having these easily in warmer weather.

 

Light amber color with light to moderate carbination. Aroma is lightly bready and malty. 1 inch head dissipates quickly.

Flavor is a little earthy, with a nice malt flavor. Saaz hop character is light but present.

I do like the flavor of this beer. I would like to try it fresher at the brewery.

Would have said his is an adjunct lager, but anyway. The beer pours out as a darker golden color. The head is white and doesn't last too long. The smell has a lemon zest aroma to it, rather surprised about that. The other aromas are primarily just what any other lager smells like. The taste was decent, it had some good malt flavors in there. The mouthfeel was pretty standard I thought. The overall thought of the beer was that it was fun to try but would travel all the way to Maine just to get more.

Nice bronze color with a decent head and lacing. Good look for a lager.
Smell was mild citrusy. good smell for a lager.
Taste was citrusy, as promised in the smell, leaning toward a grapefruit finish
The mouthfeel was medium, not watery or syrupy.
It went down real easy and drinking more than one was not a problem. A good addition to the OPB line.

Despite the previous review, I have had this beer many times and found it enjoyable. It has a thick head and a golden amber color. The aroma is slightly hoppy with spicy notes. The taste is very smooth, as a lager should be. It finishes buttery with no bitterness.

I have had absolutely no luck with this brewery's beers. The bottle exploded when opened spilling foamy and stench about the room. I gave it a second chance an attempted to pour the brew in to a glass. Almost all foam with a splinter of white-golden lager at the bottom of the glass emanating a foul yeasty aroma. Attempted to taste the beer and ended up with a mouthful of sparkling foamy medicine tasting awfulness. This is beer number three gone wrong from this brewery, no more chances.
