Had on draft. Red color with a wispy 2 finger head that quickly dissapaited. Sweet flavored but not too much. Thin mouthfeel with a good finish. This beer hit the spot and was perfect for the occasion.

16 oz draft pour at a restaurant in Nags Head, NC. Look is deep ruby color with small off white head. Some clarity in the body, head fell off quickly, some lacing left behind. Smell is malty, spicy. Taste was sweeter, malty up front, watered down grains in the middle, finish was short, somewhat clean, with a bit of spicy hop underneath. Feel was medium bodied, low carbonation, easy to drink. All in all, not bad, but the flavor seemed muted/watered down which I wasn't a big fan of.

Spicy red ale with bitter but not too interesting hops. Bitter mouth feel lingers impeding this as a session beer IMO. Softly reddish brown. Heavy lace. Hoppy aroma is detectable but not overpowering.
