16 ounce can - packaged April of this year so getting a little aged.
Pours a bright slightly cloudy golden with scant fine white bubbly head.
Flummoxed by the aroma - initially notes of citrus, pineapple, and some tropical fruit; a bit floral with melon. As warms increasingly earthy but with a bit of peach on the nose that is slightly less appealing
Taste starts with sweet citrus, tropical fruit, melon, and a bit of peach but this is followed quickly by a sharp (though not unpleasant) bitterness with strong notes of grapefruit peel and again a touch of earthiness.
Tingling fine carbonation giving this a lively light medium mouthfeel with that linger sharp bitterness.
I wavered through this, initially drawn in by the aroma that then became a little overpowering, but the bittersweet fruitiness pulled me back in a positive way.

Poured from a 473ml can.
A nice hazy pour ,a thin white head but nice sticky lacing.
A mild spicy nose with tropical fruit and hop for taste,
A pretty good NE style IPA.

Tofino Brewing 'Ethereal IPA' @ 6.7% , served from a 473 ml can
A-pour is a light gold from the can to a hazy gold in the glass with a medium white head leaving a spotty lace along the Spiegelau
S-hints of Cashmere & Eureka
T-interesting tropical fruit
MF-decent carbonation , feels big medium body
Ov-the NE IPA added recently to Tofino's year round lineup

Appearance - Pours a hazy apricot gold with two fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus, earthy, floral, and tropical hops, peach, apricot, hint of pineapple, grapefruit and citrus peel, bready malts. and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold citrus, earthy, floral, and tropical hops upfront. The brew then goes into pungent notes from the peach, apricot, hint of pineapple, grapefruit and citrus and peel. The brew is finished off by the bready malts and earthy yeast.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - A highly flavourful IPA from the folks at Tofino. I'm happy to have sampled a new offering from this brewery as its been quite some time since I've seen any new offerings from this brewery make its way to Cowtown. This one definitely delivers for an enjoyable bedtime tipple.
