This Whiskey barrel aged stout pours a nice pitch black hue with a chocolate two finger head and some lacing here and there, the smell is strong whiskey along with an underlying chocolate maltiness, the mouthfeel is full and lightly carbonated with tastes of whiskey firstly followed by dark chocolate,a touch of Irish coffee and finished with a smokey dryness and overall I'm really enjoying this whiskey aged stout as the ageing is ever present but doesn't take over the base stout and nice for ageing too cheers.
