This was a wild ale double entendre, in that my buddy Shawn had it (Shawn is generally BMC guy). Hey let's rock out, consumed during the 2019 Royal Rumble.
Pours a light amber color, 1/2" white head. Decent clarity. Aroma has some sour and tartness to it, not much in the way of hops, I guess you gotta choose one usually. Mostly a lemon like aspect to its sourness here.
Taste is alright, its relatively easy to drink. Not overly complex, has that lemon and green apple tartness to it. Probably a 4 on the 10 pt scale in terms of its sour level. Carbonation seemed lower in the mouth feel than it did in the appearance. Not really sure what aspect of this beer is an "ipa," even an English one. Might be one of those beers marketed for the American audience, and hey, there is no doubt "ipa" is the best selling style in the US craft market the last few years.
At the end of the day, it was an easy to drink mildly sour ale with no off flavors.

Pours slightly hazy amber orange with a dissipating frothy white foam head. Smells like tart orange citrus, funky passionfruit, mangosteen, mango, guava, pineapple, grapefruit marmalade, caramelized malt, with dusty peppery floral earthy grass. Tastes slightly tart with citrusy tropical fruity hop flavors like pineapple, passionfruit, guava, mango, mangosteen, bitter orange, grapefruit, citrus peel, lemon, some caramelized malt, with dusty peppery floral earthy grassy pine. Feels medium bodied, slick with smooth moderate carbonation. Overall a nice sour IPA.

Bottled March 6th 2017, poured into my Stone IPA glass
L - No head, poured slightly hazy/clear straw color
S - Green apples along with sour funk
T - Lemon acidity, no hint of alcohol, wine grapes
F - Moderate tart flavor, not overpowering
Marketed as a Sour IPA but I'm really just experiencing the sour aspects. Pretty good though.
