Copenhagen 23/2 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Blue can with a scientific drawing of a hop flower in white.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,3 cm thck layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and a bit fermented odor of ripe stone fruits mingling with a tart scent of citrus fruit. Sweet mango and each. Citrus, tangerine and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft yet lively texture. Lightly tingling.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and sourishly bitter. A tad thin. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Perfectly nice - even though they have written it a half an equation.

440 ml can, from Être Gourmet, Belgium. ABV is 6.8%. Cloudy golden colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of pine and spruce, also citrus and tropical fruits. Refreshing and slightly sweet flavour with the same elements, but the bitterness is low (maybe too low).

Super hazy, white foam is plenty but with big bubbles that can also be found on the glas.
Aroma is peach, blueberry, mango, you can smell the fresh lupulin. also dank.
Taste is fruity, orange, mandarin, sweetness - not sure if it is Lactose but rather not, some prickling senstation from fresh Lupulin.
smooth mouthfeel, carbonation plenty
nice NEIPA for sure. Was canned more than 4 months ago, but still holding up nicely

CAN
Milky tan; mouthwatering cantaloupe, pineapple, and lemon jellies; barest hint of cracker, hit of weedy ganga, lemon peel, underripe honeydew, and slight spice to end; lively.
4 4.25 3.75 3.75 4
Citra, Amarillo, Mosaic
So a NEIPA’d version of Axe Edge, I guess…? April 23 canning, anyway, so 9 weeks old is pretty good around these parts. And it smells the part, which is why it’s a shame it’s so sharp, grapefruity, and thin. 20% oats is thrown off by too much fizz; Amarillo and/or the rough side of Citra is stomping any potential tropical or juiciness, and the whole thing doesn’t deliver enough for a 6.8%.
Stick to Black IPAs, Buxton.

Pours a slightly cloudy golden amber coloration with a medium, fizzy head. Smells of biscuity malt and citrus hops, with notes of grapefruit/tangerine and a light, grassy dankness. Taste follows the nose, with a nice balance of biscuity malt and zesty citrus hops: grapefruit, tangerine, lime, with a light, grassy dankness in the background as well. Quite dry, with little sweetness coming through. Finishes with a dry, medium bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I'm not sure if this is trying to be a NEIPA, but it's not quite juicy enough and too bitter for that. Still a pretty nice IPA with a good balance of biscuity malt, zesty citrus hops and light green notes. Nice mouthfeel as well.
