Copenhagen 8/8 2019. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Webshop. Vry dark can with Lovecraftian Squid Gatekeeper. Tagline seems to be Natural - Unfiltered - Unpasteurised. I wonder if that goes for the squid as well.
Pours opaque dark brown with a bid, dense off-white head. I almost suspected that some nitro was involved. Settles as very thin layer of foam just managing to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense, bitter-sweet and with a light tart streak. Dark chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, tobacco.Hints of licorice.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, oily texture.
Flavor is medium sweet and balanced by a medium bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter coffee. Lingers for a bit.
Well balanced Porter - although a bit on the thin side.

Can. Almost black. Thin, creamy, light tan head.
A faintly charred smell along with a bit of coffee and chocolate.
A taste that suggests a subtle version of it's aroma.
A light to medium body, mildly carbonated and with a slightly dry feel.
A well made if rather boring EP.

Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Pours black with a thin and short-lived tan lid. A minute later a small patch remains. Forms some lacing on the way down.
S- Smells trad roasty-toasty.
T- Directly follows the Smell^. Quite a charry deep roast taste that lingers into a mildly hoppy-dry finish.
F- Quite dry and lighter/thinner than many contemporary porters, which makes it sessionable. CO2 in the mouth is moderate/appropriate.
O- A good trad porter with a clear and distinct flavour+feel.
Review2009/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed! ==> Unfilt/Unpast. contains barley, oats and wheat.
440ml can BB: 10/03/22 £3 Bought from TremblingMadness, York/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

330 ml can, from Être Gourmet, Belgium. ABV is 4.1%. Very dark brown colour, moderate beige head. Nice aroma of roast malts, mild coffee and chocolate. The flavour is slightly on the dry side, with the same elements as the aroma, moderate bittering hops.
