440ml Can from Brewdog.com (£3.99): A hazy, light amber offering with golden tinges & a half centimetre head that's foamy & white but fades to a patchy surface lacing after a minute or so. The nose is surprisingly subdued & mellow for a double IPA but it's definitely bitter with a lot of pine & grapefruit hops before some mango, citrus & faint alcohol start to come through. The taste is more bitter still with a lot of mango, apricot & stone fruits, there's some nice citrus too though & it's quite a strong beer despite the nose indicating otherwise initially. Smooth, juicy & fairly well balanced, although some alcohol did show but nowhere near as much as you'd expect for a 10% offering & it was pretty easy to drink as a result; a very enjoyable beer.
