Copenhagen 20/9 2019. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Brown can with Vanilla and Coffee Beans and the name of the beer stamped in red.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small, light beige head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense and rich with a strong sweetness and a notable coffee bitterness lurking not far behind. Brown sugar, Molasses, Vanilla. Coffee with sugar, lightly roasted dark malts.
Light carbonation. Soft, smooth, lightly sticky, quite flat texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is quite bitter. Lingering.
Potent Coffee Bomb with a fairly good balance.

440ml Can from Morrisons supermarket (£3.50):
Dark mahogany to black with a large, 2cm head that's medium brown & quite creamy looking with a few bubbles on the surface but really good retention. The nose opens with coffee & dark, roasted malts then a little earthy bitterness without anything overpowering; it's rich & slightly sweet with some sugars then touches of chocolate & faint vanilla to finish. It's a touch darker tasting but quite smooth & creamy, it opens with dark chocolate flavours & a nice coffee bitterness soon after. Touches of sugar, dark roasted malts then a light vanilla sweetness couples with some smoked flavours sees things out. Overall the beer was medium to full bodied, quite balanced & very smooth with soft carbonation.

Can. Almost black with a thick dense tan head with good retention.
Coffee shines through upon smelling and continues into the flavour. Some charred bread present along with vanilla.
Marvellously smooth.
Very nice indeed.
