Our Christmas Old Ale is a nod to brewing heritage. A full bodied, velvety texture with a hefty aroma of treacle and candied fruit. On the palate, find a light roasted bitterness to offset the malty, almost molasses like sweetness and you have everything you need to sit back and taste tradition brewed with a modern approach.

Copenhagen 26/12 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A ghpoulish silhouette of a skull with antlers on a blue background with hovering ice crystals.
Pours almost clear mahogany with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as a 1,5 cm hick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and sugary odor of malts mingling with a subdued grainy, sour scent. Caramel and toffee. Hint of brown sugar. Sour grains and linoleum.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet caramel.
A sweet and flat Christmas Greeting.
