Old Ale is a nod to brewing heritage. A full bodied, velvety texture with a hefty aroma of treacle and candied fruit. On the palate, find a light roasted bitterness to offset the malty, almost molasses like sweetness and you have everything you need to sit back and taste tradition brewed with a modern approach

Pours a dark amber with fine tan head.
Smell is roasted and malty with some sweet hints. Notes of brown bread, syrup, chestnuts and rye toast with some nutty hints.
Taste is rich and roasted with moderate bitterness. Notes of roasted chestnuts, caramel, brown bread and rye with some nutty hints.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific old ale, would love to try it on cask.
