I had the cask-conditioned version at the brewpub. The head consisted of about 3/4 inch of dense white foam that lasted longer than that of CO2 beers. Color was a clear, slightly dark amber. Very appealing look and consistent with the English style. The taste was very smooth with the hops being present but not lording it over the malt as we find in more hoppy IPA styles. Sorry, I can't say anything about the smell as I don't have a good sniffer.
