7oz offering on tap yesterday at the brewpub.
Arrives in a small goblet. rich reddish body with a small white head which persists throughout leaving fine lacing.
Aroma is slightly sweet, some fruit, having a hard time getting the bourbon, but since I don't care for overly boozy bourbon offerings, this is fine by me.
The bourbon does come through very lightly on the taste. There are some vanilla notes as well. some warmth from the abv. Slightly sweet, and non citrus fruit taste.
Mouth is close to full, finish is warm and somewhat sweet.
Overall, the best beer I had yesterday, not a style you find too often, so appreciate the brewer's willingness to put this one out there.
