Served on nitro-tap at Turkey Hill.
A - Pours deep brown, bordering on black, with a creamy one finger tall off white head leaving sticky rings of lace down the glass.
S - Smells of dark roasted grains, day old coffee, very faint hops, and some bready oatmeal. A bit weak but certainly not the worst I have had.
T - Starts off with a bit of light chocolatey sweetness quickly giving way to a mix of dark roasted grains, touch of hop bitterness, and coffee creamer. Finish is a little sweet initially growing dryer as it warms up, lingering on the pallet for some time after consumption.
M - Heavy body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Rich, creamy feel, growing a little watery toward the end of the glass. The nitro pour really helped this one out.
O - This one was pretty good. It had a good amount of flavor and the nitro pour really helped it out. One of the better beers I had all day.
