Clear russet with steady taupe carpet that webs. 4
Huge fresh dank hop leaf nose with some pine. 4.5
Crusty dark rye loaf, some clove spice, then dried tangerine rind, resin, and pine forest floor. 4
Cointreau finish and Angostura linger.
Almost medium, clean, some cling. 4
-- Stupidly big nose - like a hop sack. Flavour doesn’t match, though - and it should at the 4 month mark (BBD 4.28.15). Dank like Simcoe should be, but doesn’t give passion fruit (though to be fair, it doesn’t get catty either, and fruit comes out as it warms.) Just wishing for some Cali brightness - I guess you need C hops for that. Still darn tasty, though. 4
